Access to communications on innovation policy on CORDIS
CORDIS, the European Commission's Research and Development Information Service, is introducing European innovation communications and related information. A new service offers direct access to the innovation communication, published on 11 March, which highlights the need for a broader approach to innovation. This service also provides access to the previous communication, released in 2000, thus offering a review of the trends in the 'generations' of innovation policy. A list of useful links provides additional information on the significance of innovation within the framework programmes as well as access to complementary services, including the innovation policy studies service. The latter highlights two recent publications in the field of innovation in Europe: the Innobarometer 2002 and the innovation tomorrow report. Both policy makers and innovation stakeholders can take advantage of this new service providing insight into policy definition in the context of the Lisbon strategy, to be discussed at the Spring Council on 21 March 2003.
