New Commission web portal - networks of women in science
The European Commission has launched a web portal aimed at facilitating networking between women scientists. 'The directory of networks of women scientists 2003' provides profiles and contact details of over 80 networks of scientists active in the EU Member States and third countries participating in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). Networks are listed according to the geographical coverage, scientific discipline and the location of the networks' headquarters. The web portal can be seen as part of the Commission's overall drive to tackle the under-representation of women in science and research.
