Studies and technical assistance in regional development
The Directorate-General for Regional Policy of the European Commission wishes to receive assistance for the multiannual programme of studies and technical assistance it is launching in the regional development field for the period 1994-1996. To this end, a call for expressions of interest has been published to invite parties to express their ideas for, and their interest in, assisting the Commission's departments to develop subjects likely to form the basis of calls for tenders, and to help in establishing contacts between participants in this programme, particularly between those wishing to contribute to the setting up of international groups. The wide range of services required by the Commission (detailed in the call) concern the following subject-areas in particular: - Socio-economic studies and general assistance; - Land use planning, inter-regional and transfrontier cooperation; - Preparation of assistance; - Monitoring and ex ante and ex post assessment of assistance; - Information; - Computerization.
