European Business Centre Technology Exchange: Catalogue of technology offers
A catalogue of technology offers has been published following the European Business Centre's Technology Exchange, held during SITEF '93 (France). This will be taken as the starting point of a permanent business exchange facilitating technology transfer between companies. At the Technology Exchange of 20-22 October 1993, a total of 54 European exhibitors proposed 141 innovative and transferable technological offers in the two areas of Imaging and Environment. The exchange was organized by the Midi-Pyrenees Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CRCI) in cooperation with its institutions and the European Commission (INTERPRISE initiative). Results obtained following the Technology Exchange have confirmed a real need for the action. In order to pursue and amplify this form of communication, a permanent business exchange is to be supported by a catalogue of innovative and transferable technologies. The aim is to allow many companies an increased access to technology transfer on a national and international level, aiding their development of new products and/or processes. The ongoing exchange is organized by the Midi-Pyrenees CRCI.
