European Community budget, 1991
The general budget of the European Communities for the financial year 1991 (91/34/ECSC, EEC, Euratom) adopted by the European Parliament on 13 December 1990 has been published in the Official Journal. Inter alia, commitments, payments and breakdown of expenditures regarding Research and Technological Development (RTD) programmes are detailed. Total estimated appropriations during the 1991 financial year for RTD amount to ECU 1,744 million. Appropriations in related fields include: Training, youth, culture,information and other social operations - ECU 377 million; energy,Euratom nuclear safeguards and environment - ECU 208 million; consumer protection, internal market, industry and innovation technology -ECU 285 million; cooperation with developing and other non-Member countries - ECU 2,229 million.
