Status of second and third calls for BIOTECH proposals.
Proposals resulting from the second call for BIOTECH projects (OJ No C 114 of 24.4.1993) are being evaluated. A total of 108 proposals were received and 20 projects have been so far selected. Contracts for these projects are in the final process being of negotiation. Selection and evaluation is continuing for the remaining proposals and the complete list of projects will be carried on RTD News when they become available. Concerning the third call for proposals (OJ No S 118 of 19.6.1993) a total of 103 proposals were received. The evaluation procedure has begun though no selections have yet been made. Selection should be completed by the middle of April 1994.
