Slovakian incubators and technology parks to receive EIB loan
Slovakian research and innovation is set to benefit from a 95 million euro loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), aimed at furthering the country's integration into the European Union. The loan will be used for co-financing projects in combination with EU money from the Cohesion and Structural Funds, which will address areas prioritised in the Slovak National Development Programme, namely: - local infrastructure - information society infrastructure for the public sector, social and regional infrastructure; - environmental projects - the protection and rational use of water, protection of air and further development of waste management infrastructure; - industry - technology parks, incubators, industrial research; - tourism.
