Marine biotoxins: Reference Laboratory funding
Community funding up to ECU 1200,000 will be provided for a one-year period for the operations of the Community Reference Laboratory for marine biotoxins (Laboratorio del Ministero de Sanidad y Consumo, Vigo). A Commission Decision of 17.2.1994 provides for financial assistance to the laboratory under the terms of a one-year contract which shall be reviewed prior to expiry of the initial period. The functions and duties to be carried out by the Reference Laboratory are determined in Article 4 of Council Decision 93/383/EEC (OJ No L 166 of 8.7.1993).
