Amended Directive on hazardous waste
The Commission has proposed an amendment to the Council Directive 91/689/EC on hazardous waste. The proposed amendment concerns the definition of hazardous waste as well as the timetable for implementation. The date for bringing into force the laws, Regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with the Directive is changed from 31 December 1994 in the original Directive to 31 December 1995 in this proposal.
