Director sought for European Agency for the Evaluation of Medical products
The London-based European Medicines Evaluation Agency is seeking an Executive Director. The Executive Director will have responsibility for all matters relating to the effective management of the agency and its tasks. The appointment will be by the Management Board of the Agency on a proposal by the Commission for a period of five years, renewable. The requirement is for a person with a knowledge of Community pharmaceutical legislation as well as a thorough understanding of Community procedures in general. An ability to manage relations with the media and interested professional bodies will be an advantage.
