Call for tenders for study on innovation and technology transfer from energy research
The European Commission has issued a call for proposals for a comparative study of the mechanisms, results and good practices in terms of innovation and the transfer of results of energy research in both national and EU programmes. The overarching objective of the study is to give technical expertise to the Commission so that the latter can improve the market take-up of energy and energy related technologies developed in the relevant research and technological development (RTD) programmes, especially those of the EC. In order to reach this objective, the study should identify, document and compare best practices and existing tools and mechanisms through a comparative analysis of practices and results in terms of support to innovation and technology transfer developed by the EU and Member States with respect to energy research. In addition, the study should assess these tools and indicate which activities could be best improved or undertaken to support innovation and technology transfer in that area in the light of the situation described and assessed at EU level and in Member States. For further information, please contact: European Commission Attn: Jacques Bonnin MO 75 5/19 B-1049 Brussels Tel: +32 2 296 9001 Fax: +32 2 2966882 E-mail: jacques.bonnin@cec.eu.int To see the full details of the call, please: click here(opens in new window)
