Swedish Research Council extends ExpertAnswer service
The ExpertAnswer service from the Swedish Research Council is now available in English to journalists outside Sweden. ExpertAnswer (Expertsvar in Swedish) has been in operation since 2000, providing reporters with contact details for experts on a smorgasbord of subjects. The service was created by Swedish universities and the KK-foundation, and is run by the Swedish Research Council in collaboration with the other member institutions. Press and information officers from all of Sweden's universities, most university colleges, research institutes and research councils are listed and are ready to channel daily questions from journalists looking for the right scientific expert to interview.
