The Commission's Information Society DG has published a call for tenders in two lots aimed at providing a measurement framework and a better understanding of the barriers to e-government in Europe. The call is divided into two lots: - Lot A: economics, benefits and financing of eGovernment: This tender aims to provide insight into the expenditures made for e-government in the EU and to support the process towards a measurement framework for e-government, in particular as regards take-up and impact of e-government, as well as provide insight into the underpinning economics of e-government; - Lot B: identification of remaining legal, regulatory and organisational barriers to e-government provision. This tender aims to support progress towards a better understanding of legal, regulatory and organisational barriers in e-government and possible ways to overcome those in Europe. The total budget for the two lots is 750,000 euro. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General INFSO Unit C6, Attn: Peter Katz BU31 7/30 rue de la Loi/Wetstraat 200 B-1049 Brussels Tel +32-2-296-90-19 Fax +32-2-296-41-14 E-mail: peter.katz@cec.eu.int To see the full details of the call, please: click here(opens in new window)
