CORDIS launches revamped service for European business incubators
CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, has launched a newly revamped information service covering the world of business incubators. A new homepage layout groups information more conveniently, while new sections of the service broaden and deepen the information available. The new section on 'financial support' gives background information and links to sources of funding, whether at the EU, national or regional level. The 'benchmarking' section assembles benchmarking activities, again at EU and national level, related to the building of the European Incubators Database. European incubator associations included in the database are among the organisations listed in the 'useful links' section, while the library includes reports and studies on the state of incubators in Europe, as well as articles on business incubation and innovation from the EU magazines ITT and EuroAbstracts. Events of interest to European incubators and their clients can be submitted to CORDIS Wire, from where they will be selected for publication on the news and events section of the Incubators service. Furthermore, by registering with CORDIS Wire, business incubators and start-up companies can also publish their success stories in English, French and German.
