The Commission's Research DG has published a call for tenders relating to a study on 'new emerging/converging clusters of science and technology', which will contribute to implementing the European science and technology foresight and knowledge sharing platform. The main objective of the study is to map and analyse the emergence of new scientific and technological clusters at the boundaries of the established fields, or where a convergence can be seen of existing previously separated fields (e.g. nanobio, nanoinfo, infocogno, etc.) and to analyse the processes and dynamics behind the emergence of these new clusters. The estimated total budget for the study is 375,000 euro. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General Research Attn: Mr Belmiro Martins rue de la Loi/Wetstraat 200 B-1049 Brussels Tel +32-2-296 0006 Fax +32-2-295 8865 E-mail: belmiro.martins@cec.eu.int To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://fp6.cordis.lu/fp6/tender_details.cfm?CALL_ID=203(opens in new window)
