Analysing the impact of publicly-funded research programmes on innovation
The European Commission's Enterprise and Industry DG has published a call for tenders for analysing and evaluating the impact of publicly-funded research programmes on innovation. The contract will involve: - the gathering and analysis of information on measures taken to promote innovation in Community projects, as well as the obstacles encountered and the actions needed to remove them; - the comparison of experience derived from Community projects with the lessons learnt from other national or intergovernmental programmes and the validation of the information obtained; - the active dissemination of this information among businesses and other participants in the generation and exploitation of knowledge'.
