The Commission's Education and Culture DG has published a call for tenders entitled 'Education and training 2010: benchmark 'mathematics, science and technology''.

The call relates to the provision of policy advice to the Commission, more specifically to:
- contributing to the achievement by 2010 of the European benchmark of increasing the total number of graduates in mathematics, science and technology in the European Union by at least 15 per cent, while at the same time decreasing the level of gender imbalance;
- assisting the Commission in the development and follow-up of peer learning activities between clusters of Member States, in order to promote mutual learning and the identification of success factors and good practice in the area of mathematics, science and technology education and thereby to support progress towards the EU benchmark.For further information, please contact:
