CORDIS has published 12 new themed brochures to introduce readers to the wealth of content and services available through the EU's official information source on research and innovation. The new materials allow users to quickly identify which content is relevant to them through keywords, and to indicate where to look for it on CORDIS. The leaflets will be available at the CORDIS stand at events over the coming months such as the 'European Research and Innovation Exhibition' in Paris, France, in June, the 'European NanoForum' in Edinburgh, UK, in September, and 'Communicating European Research' in Brussels, Belgium, in November. They are also available for download, since the CORDIS Guidance service now includes all the brochures online in portable document format (PDF). The new brochures cover most aspects of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) and its activities aimed at integrating and strengthening the European Research Area (ERA). With information on participation and access to funding, sharing knowledge and cooperation, keeping up with the latest news, and gaining visibility, leaflet titles include: - Benefit from European research funding; - Science and society; - Innovation; - Life sciences and health; - IST and e-content; - Nanotechnology, new materials and processes; - Aeronautics and space; - Food quality and safety; - Energy, transport and ecosystems; - Citizens and governance. Two more brochures cover the policy information available on CORDIS, with sections on monitoring and contributing to policy development: - ERA - the European Research Area; - Future European research (including FP7). The new brochures complement the existing materials introducing CORDIS services, such as the Miniguide, which can also be found on the Guidance service.
