Study on the transfer of expertise through mentoring in SMEs
The Commission's Enterprise and Industry DG has published a call for tenders for a study on the transfer of expertise through mentoring in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). In the first stage, the contractor will deliver: - a survey of different training and mentoring support measures/schemes in favour of non-family business successors who are in the process of taking over established small and medium-sized enterprises in the EU-25 Member States; - the assessment of the quality and impact of existing training and mentoring services in terms of client satisfaction through standardised questionnaires; - a ranking of selected good practices of existing training and mentoring services, i.e. best practices for the preparation of non-family business successors to acquire established small and medium-sized enterprises through professional training and mentoring.
