Glow discharge optical spectrometer for the JRC
The Joint Research Centre's Institute for Advanced Materials has published a tender for the supply of an automatic spectrometer for surface and depth profile analysis by means of glow discharge optical spectrometry (GDOS). The equipment is to be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of surfaces and for depth profiling of uncoated samples or samples coated with electrical conductive materials, and must be able to analyse simultaneously at least 25 elements in the range of impurities and in the range of main constituents.
