Nanoforum launches revamped website
Nanoforum, the EU funded nanotechnology network, has launched a new website intended to make it easier for users to find the information on European nanotechnology that they require. Information contained on the website has now been classified according to scientific field, for example, 'chemistry and materials', 'health and nanobiotechnology' and 'transport and space'. Additional sectors can also be selected by clicking on the 'more' button. These include 'society issues', safety and environment' and 'strategy'. The homepage links to the latest news, events, organisations, calls and programmes, and publications. A new interface also allows users to find details of organisations within each country by clicking on a map of Europe. Nanoforum is a pan-European nanotechnology network funded by the European Union under its Fifth Framework Programme (FP5). It is intended to provide information on European nanotechnology activities, and to support Europe's nanotechnology community.
