The Commission's Information Society and Media DG has published a call for tenders in relation to the evaluation and monitoring of research and development in the area of information society technologies (IST). The contract relates to supporting the assessment of: - the effectiveness of self-assessments of IST research and development implementation, including the collection and reporting of indicators, in relation to the annual monitoring of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6); - the effectiveness of evaluation and selection of research and development proposals in 2006, with a view to re-formulation of procedures and criteria for FP7. In order to derive the assessments above, the study will explore and propose future perspectives for an evaluation strategy, which addresses all high level ICT research and development evaluation issues; and put forward a coherent evaluation framework, in which the required evaluations (including monitoring exercises), their dates and content specifications are clearly identified in relation to the Framework Programmes (Sixth and Seventh) schedules and deadlines. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General Information Society and Media Attn: Mr Costas Paleologos/Ms Beatrice Masoliver BU31 00/58 B-1049 Brussels Tel +32-2 296 8538 Fax +32-2 296 2575 To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://fp6.cordis.lu/fp6/tender_details.cfm?CALL_ID=253(opens in new window)
