CORDIS News - revamp and redesign
CORDIS News, the daily online news service covering research policy and practice in Europe, CORDIS, has a new face. The News Service's home page has been completely re-designed to provide an even more user-friendly, at-a-glance overview of the most relevant and recent developments. The latest news highlights, upcoming events and a story of the month are at the centre of the new news page. In addition, the revamped News Service also integrates Presidency News and press releases from CORDIS Wire, as well as a link to the related CORDIS focus family of publications. The result of the re-design is a more flexible News Service, offering broader coverage. However, this does not come at the expense of clarity. Special sections on FP6, FP7, the Lisbon Strategy and other important areas allow users to access news articles from the subject areas in which they are most interested. Furthermore, a comprehensive search function provides easy access to all past and current news articles. An e-mail alert function and an RSS feed are also available to help users remain up to date with the latest developments in European R&D. Finally, users can also help to keep the CORDIS News Service dynamic and varied by sending their own news stories to the CORDIS News team. The CORDIS News Service is updated on a daily basis and is a major gateway for news and recent developments in European R&D policy.
