Nano2Life summer scientific meeting
On 5-7 September the European Network of Excellence Nano2Life will hold its summer scientific meeting at University College Cork in Ireland. The objective of Nano2Life is to merge existing European expertise and knowledge in the field of nanobiotechnology in order to keep Europe as a competitive partner and to make it a leader in nanobiotechnology transfer. About 150 scientists from all over Europe are expected at the scientific summer meeting in Cork. The main topics are the strategic research projects of Nano2Life, including: - surface functionalisation and nano patterning; - protein, DNA and cell chips - non-carbon nanotubes, nanoscale assemblies and self assemblies; - in-vivo nano-imaging; - in vivo cell and tissue analysis; - cancer related nanodiagnostics; - cell biology; - environment monitoring and security; - in vitro toxicology
