Global grants for Community rural development (LEADER programme)
In the framework of the LEADER programme, global grants to selected competent local bodies (private or mixed, public authorities or associations of municipalities) shall permit a network of local rural development action groups to implement measures in accordance with guidelines set out in the notice. The objective is to find innovative model solutions for all rural areas ensuring maximum integration between sectoral measures. Selected groups will submit guidelines for the development of a rural area of population 5,000 to 100,000. Eligible are measures: Of direct benefit to inhabitants and economic operators; concerning the establishment and management of groups; ensuring optimum network operation.Full information may be obtained from: Mr. G.
