Appendix to summaries of ESPRIT projects in microelectronics
The European Commission has published an appendix to the December 1993 volume of ESPRIT project summaries in microelectronics. The booklet provides an overview of a number of projects which were not included in the December edition. Each project is described in a standard format covering its objectives and approach, participating organizations and a contact point. The microelectronics activities of the ESPRIT programme concentrate on the development of component and subsystem technologies required by European system manufacturers. Major areas of work include semiconductors processing, design methodologies, packaging and interconnection techniques, manufacturing, equipment and materials microsystems and peripherals.
