New brochure on 'Siberia in IST'
A brochure on Siberian involvement in information society technologies (IST) has been produced within the SITE (Siberia, information technologies and Europe) project, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The booklet contains a series of articles written by European and Russian experts active in IST. SITE sought to increase EU-Siberian collaboration in IST. A number of initiatives have been implemented, including an information and support network for IST in the Sibirsky region, and an online partnering database. Siberian researchers have also participated in European IST events.
