LINGUA Joint Educational Projects Handbook
The European Commission, in the framework of its Education, Training and Youth programme, has published a handbook on "LINGUA joint educational projects". Joint educational projects are set up by education establishments in different Member States in order to support foreign language learning. The projects are aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 25 and culminate in an exchange between the young people concerned. The principal aim of the handbook is to clarify and explain the nature of a joint educational project and to help teachers and project coordinators turn theory into practice. The handbook also aims to provide a common platform for cooperation between educational institutions in the different Member States.
