Prior information notice: European Innovation Scoreboard
The European Commission's Enterprise and Industry DG has published a prior information notice of a call for tenders for developing the European innovation scoreboard for 2008 and 2009. The purpose of this call for tender is to provide the Commission services and, more generally, the European innovation community, with economic and statistical analyses on the innovation performance of EU Member States and international competitors. The contractor will ensure the annual publication of the European innovation scoreboard (EIS), together with six thematic reports. The thematic reports' issues will be identified with the Commission services every year. They will notably include a sectoral scoreboard every year and a regional scoreboard every two years. All results will be published on the Pro Inno web site (managed under another contract), for which the contractor will provide final versions of the EIS and thematic papers.
