Call for proposals - EIB University Research Sponsorship Programme
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has published a call for proposals for its EIBURS programme, which falls within the EIB-Universities Research Action. EIBURS stands for EIB University Research Sponsorship Programme. EIBURS provides grants to University Research Centres working on research topics and themes of major interest to the Bank. EIB sponsorships, of up to €100,000 per year for a period of three years, are awarded through a competitive process to interested university departments or research centres, associated with universities of EU, Accession or Acceding Countries, with recognised expertise in EIB-selected areas. The EIBURS sponsorship will entitle the beneficiary to develop additional activities to those it normally carries out in the selected research fields. For the academic year 2007/2008, the EIBURS programme's two new lines of research are: - public investment under budgetary restrictions in the new EU Member States; - pricing of securitisation deals. For further information, please visit: http://www.eib.org/universities(opens in new window) To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/site/en/oj/2007/c_065/c_06520070321en00110011.pdf(opens in new window)
