Tender: future qualifications and skills needs in the construction sector
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry has released a call for tenders for a study on the future qualifications and skills needed in the construction sector. The work will involve identifying, analysing and assessing the construction sector's future needs for skills and competencies based on current and anticipated technical, economical and social developments, as well as the capacities of the sector's companies. The study should also assess best practices at EU-level and in the Member States regarding capacity building of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) relevant for the construction sector. Based on the two assessments the study should elaborate operational recommendations. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry Directorate I: New Approach Industries, Tourism and CSR Unit I5 - Construction and Pressure Equipment Attn: The Head of Unit B100 02/07, B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32 2 296 97 00 Fax +32 2 296 10 65 E-mail: entr-construction-pressure-equpmt@ec.europa.eu URL: http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/construction/index_en.htm(opens in new window) To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:088494-2007:TEXT:EN:HTML(opens in new window)
