Tender: 'Inspire' technical specifications for environmental monitoring facilities
The Institute for Environment and Sustainability of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for the development and prototyping of 'Inspire' technical specifications for air, water, waste and biodiversity environmental monitoring facilities. In the context of the infrastructure, rules and tools for data sharing in the Shared Information Environmental System, the project will contribute to the implementation of the Inspire Directive through the development of the Inspire technical specifications on meta-data and data specifications for the data theme 'Environmental monitoring facilities' (EMF) and more specifically for the air, water, waste and biodiversity thematic areas. These specifications will be used as input for the development of the Inspire implementing rules.
