The European Commission's Directorate General for Information Society and Media has issued a call for tenders for a study on the future technology needs for future eGovernment services. The study will examine the broader research agenda (i.e. outside the traditional eGovernment topics areas) to determine emerging trends in technology and prospects for accessing results. The aim is to identify specific technologies that can be exploited in the development of future eGovernment and eAdministration services. In addition, the study should also consider requirements for future research topics that may be specific to eGovernment and that may require support at EU level after 2008.For further information, please contact: European Commission DG INFSO Unit H2: eGovernment and CIP Operations Attn: David Broster, Head of Unit BU31 2/66 Avenue du Bourget 1-3 B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32 2 296 8021 Fax +32 2 296 1740 E-mail: INFSO-EGOVTECHNEEDS@ec.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:205956-2007:TEXT:EN:HTML(opens in new window)
