The European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Supervisory Authority has issued a call for tenders for a market study and preliminary business plan for EGNOS, the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service. The objective of the EGNOS market study and preliminary business plan is to update, question and validate the data collected in the existing studies as well as to deepen understanding and knowledge of the evolution of the EGNOS-relevant markets, users and potential revenue stream. The two main parts of the study shall comprise: Activity A: definition of the EGNOS business and market objectives; Activity B: feasibility of the EEO (EGNOS Economic Operator) scenario and associated business plan. Activity A and B are logically sequenced and correlated. However, Activity B may not be initiated, depending on the results of Activity A.
