Nominations open for Holberg Prize
Nominations are open for the 2008 edition of the Holberg International Memorial Prize. The prize is awarded annually for outstanding scholarly work in the fields of the arts and humanities, social science, law and theology, and has a value of NOK 4.5 million (around €555,000). The winner must have had a decisive influence on international research in her or his field, for example through the development of new theory, knowledge or insight.
