ONP conciliation procedure
The European Commission has published information on the conciliation procedure on the application of Open Network Provision (ONP) to leased lines (OJ No L 165 of 19.6.1992 p. 27). The procedure is intended as a way of solving disputes arising from the application of the ONP Directive and concerns, among other things, unjustified access restrictions and availability of information concerning leased line offerings and tariffs. The procedure establishes a mechanism whereby a dispute which cannot be settled at national level in the EU Member States can be addressed to the Commission by means of written notification. In cases which involve EEA and EU Member States, notification should be made to the relevant national regulatory authority
