New look to European research news
The current and final issue of the CORDIS focus Newsletter, the print edition of the CORDIS online news, is currently winging its way to subscribers worldwide. In order to simplify access to news on European research, the CORDIS focus magazines will be integrated into the research*eu family of publications from January 2008. CORDIS focus has brought updates on EU-funded research, as well as the latest science news from individual European countries, for more than 14 years. research*eu is edited by the Communication Unit of the European Commission's Research DG. The magazine is published 10 times per year in English, French, German and Spanish. Some of the articles that may previously have appeared in the CORDIS focus Newsletter will be highlighted on an insert accompanying the research*eu magazine. The CORDIS focus RTD Results Supplement will become the research*eu results supplement. Other CORDIS focus supplements will be replaced by research*eu focus, to be published on an ad hoc basis throughout the year. Every CORDIS focus subscriber will receive a subscription form with their final issues of the CORDIS focus publications (December 2007), enabling them to subscribe to the new family of magazines. Online subscription will be possible from February 2008 at the reference below.
