The PRO INNO Europe initiative of the European Commission has launched a call for independent experts for the exploratory phase of the second learning cycle of the INNO Learning Platform.

The goal of the 2008 learning cycle is to explore how best to move towards a more efficient support of innovation in Europe. The Experts will provide professional support and technical assistance on the following topics:

- Mapping of innovation support measures;
- Policy rationale for innovation support;
- The subsidiarity principal and support of innovation;
- Complementarities between regional, national and EU support instruments;
- Complementarities between EU instruments;
- New and better innovation support mechanisms;
