Deadline extended for tender on public R&D programmes
The European Commission's Directorate General for Research has extended the deadline for its call for tenders for a study on the critical mass of public research and development (R&D) programmes - a potential driver of joint programming. The deadline, which was originally set at 29 February 2008, is now 5 March 2008. The deadline for requesting tender documents has also been extended. The aim of the tender is to achieve a better understanding of the conditions under which it might be beneficial for Member States to engage in the joint programming of research activities.
