The European Commission has published a call for proposals under the EU-Canada programme for cooperation in higher education, training and youth.

The general objectives of the programme, and of this call, are to promote mutual understanding between the peoples of the European Union and Canada, including broader knowledge of their languages, cultures and institutions, and to improve the quality of human resources in the European Union and Canada.

This initiative provides support to enable EU-Canada consortia of higher education institutions and training institutions to carry out joint study and training programmes and to implement student and faculty mobility in the form of transatlantic exchange partnerships (TEP).

Activities are planned to start between 1 September and 31 December 2009 and end between 30 August and 31 December 2012.For further information, please contact:
