Ambient Assisted Living call for proposals published
The Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Joint Programme has launched its second call for proposals. It is dedicated to 'Information and communication technology (ICT) based solutions for the advancement of social interaction of elderly people'. Thus, project ideas submitted should aim to help people to stay active and socially connected as they age. The core of the AAL programme, which figures among the European Commission's Article 185 (ex 169) initiatives, is to provide innovative ICT-based solutions for the elderly. This includes products, systems and services addressing the needs and the wishes of the end-users.
