Tender: study on learning rates of low carbon technologies
The Institute for Energy at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for a study on learning rates of low carbon technologies. The aim of the open call is to award a contract for a study providing an in-depth analysis of the learning curves of a set of low carbon technologies to forecast their technology costs in the future. The analysis will need to include the following items: - the impact of technology improvements on cost reduction; - the econometric characterisation of the main parameters influencing the technology change of low carbon technologies; - the establishment of multi-variable learning curves of low carbon technologies up to 2050.
