Tender: study on mobility developments in higher education
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Education and Culture is calling for tenders for a study on mobility developments in higher education. As a follow up of the recommendations of the high level forum on mobility and the conclusions of the Council of the European Union and the representatives of the Member States on youth mobility, the European Commission is preparing a Green Paper on learning mobility for young people. In line with these developments, the European Commission is eager to obtain a clearer picture on higher education mobility developments and the underlying reasons for different mobility trends of higher education students and staff. The Commission, therefore, foresees carrying out a study on 'Mobility developments in higher education'. The study would be conducted in parallel to the work on the Green Paper on learning mobility of young people. A part of the study is to analyse the feedback on higher education mobility in the public consultation which will take place after the Green Paper has been launched (July-October). The study should focus both on quantitative and qualitative aspects of mobility developments. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General for Education and Culture attention: Barbara Nolan EAC/B-3, MADO 11/21 B-1049 Brussels, Belgium Contact: Ms Asgerdur Kjartansdottir Tel. +32 2 299 1919 Fax +32 2 299 8292 E-mail: eac-unite-b3@ec.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:089821-2009:TEXT:EN:HTML(opens in new window)
