Call: proposals under the 'Intelligent Energy- Europe' Programme
The European Commission's Directorate-General of Energy and Transport has published a call for proposals in the field of energy under the 'Intelligent Energy - Europe' Programme. The objective of the 'Intelligent Energy - Europe' Programme is to contribute to secure, sustainable and competitively priced energy for Europe, by providing for initiatives to: - foster energy efficiency and the rational use of energy resources; - promote new and renewable energy sources and to support energy diversification; - promote energy efficiency and the use of new and renewable energy sources in transport. The programme in particular contributes to the Energy Policy for Europe, including the EU action plan for energy-efficiency and the Directive on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources.
