Tender: climate change - modelling water scenarios and sectoral impacts
The European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment has launched a call for tenders on climate adaptation for the modelling of water scenarios and sectoral impacts. The objective of this contract is to assess Europe's vulnerability to climate change impacts and analyse adaptation measures with a specific focus on water-related impacts and measures. This will include the provision of an integrated analytical platform at a detailed geographical level, providing the basis for the identification of adaptation measures to be either promoted or prevented at EU level. The scope of the assessment should cover all inland and transitional waters for EU-27 Member States, excluding outermost regions. The time horizon for the assessment would cover both medium term (2020, 2030) and long term (2050 or further). For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General for the Environment F.2 - Finance BU-5 00/169 B-1049 Brussels E-mail: env-tenders@ec.europa.eu Tel. +32 2 296 0008 Fax +32 2 299 4449 To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:153972-2009:TEXT:EN:HTML(opens in new window)
