The European Commission's Directorate-General for the Environment has published a call for tenders concerning diffuse air emissions in the European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR).

On the basis of previous feasibility studies done by the European Environment Agency/European Topic Centre (EEA/ETC) and the Joint Research Centre's EDGAR ('Emission database for global atmospheric research') project, the objective of the contract is to gather available data on diffuse emissions to air and design a methodology to derive disaggregated spatial data and gridded emissions map layers for integration into the E-PRTR register.For further information, please contact:
