The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for homogeneity and short-term stability studies of three coal materials.

The contract concerns homogeneity and short-term stability studies for three candidate coal certified reference materials (CRMs). General quality parameters (gross calorific value, ash content, etc.), as well as the composition (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, trace metals) of brown coal, hard coal and furnace coke, are to be determined.

One homogeneity study and one stability study are envisioned for each of the three materials.For further information, please contact:
