EIB calling for proposals for university research sponsorship programme
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has launched a new call for proposals for the EIB University Research Sponsorship Programme (EIBURS). EIBURS provides grants to university research centres working on research topics and themes of major interest to the bank. EIB sponsorships of up to EUR 100,000 per year for a period of 3 years are awarded through a competitive process to interested university departments or research centres associated with universities of the EU, accession or acceding countries with recognised expertise in the EIB-selected areas. For the academic year 2009/2010, the EIBURS programme has selected 'Urban development funds in Europe: opportunities, structures, operations' as a new line of research. The successful proposals will entail the delivery of outputs such as research, courses and seminars, networking and the dissemination of results. For further information on EIBURS, please visit: http://www.eib.org/universities(opens in new window)
