Call: ARTEMIS Joint Undertaking, ARTEMIS-2010-1
The European Commission has launched a call for proposals under the Artemis Joint Undertaking, ARTEMIS1 Annual Work Programme for 2010. ARTEMIS research is intended to focus on 'downstream-oriented research and technological development with a strong market drive'. This focus also includes the exploration of the potential for practical application of upstream research. Each proposal should have a technological focus on at least one of the industrial priorities of ARTEMIS in the context of at least one sub-programme. The industrial priorities of ARTEMIS are: - reference designs and architectures, - seamless connectivity and middleware, - design methods and tools. The ARTEMIS sub-programmes include: - methods and processes for safety-relevant embedded systems, - healthcare systems, - smart environments, - efficient manufacturing and logistics, - computing environments for embedded systems, - inter-networked embedded systems for security and critical infrastructure protection, - embedded technology for sustainable urban life, - human-centred design of embedded systems. The application-driven development of new technologies and solutions can direct project results towards user needs. Proposals will benefit from having a central role for applications and early stage feedback in order to achieve market-relevant results. Proposals should identify which of the industrial priorities and sub-programmes they address. To see the full details of the call, please click: here(opens in new window)
