Clean Sky JTI calls for proposals
A call for proposals for the Clean Sky Joint Technology Initiative (JTI) has been launched. The call covers a number of areas under the Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft (SWFA) section of the Clean Sky JTI. Clean Sky research and technology development projects are objective-driven research projects, aiming to develop new knowledge, new technology and solutions. In many instances, the projects will contribute to one of the demonstrators developed in one of the six major technology areas by the initiative. Due to the nature of the call, it is set up as a collection of very detailed topics. These are: - micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) accelerometer for wing behaviour measurement and the design of a MEMS accelerometer for SFWA purposes, - MEMS gyrometer for wing behaviour measurement and the evaluation of the potential of MEMS gyro technologies issued from an industrial application for SFWA purposes, - starboard leading edge and upper cover design and manufacturing and the design and manufacturing of the starboard leading edge and the upper cover of a natural laminar flow (NFL) wing, - Krueger flaps design and manufacture and the design and manufacturing of Krueger flaps for two flight demonstrator wings.To see the full details of the call, please click: here(opens in new window)
